Rogers launches 5G in more than 50 communities in Canada: Here’s the list

Telecom giant Rogers Communications Inc. initially projected its nascent 5G network would expand beyond Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver to cover an additional 20-plus markets by the end of 2020, but on Tuesday it said it now projects the network will cover more than 60 cities and towns by year-end.

The company initially began rolling out its new 5G network in a few major cities back in January, before a global pandemic sideswiped the economy and led to shuttered offices, pushing employees into remote work situations and children into remote learning scenarios.

“Strong digital infrastructure and investments in 5G are critical to fuel productivity and innovation across this country now, as we power out of COVID-19, and in the future as we reset the competitive landscape for Canada, globally,” Joe Natale, chief executive of Rogers Communications, said in a statement.

SOME THINK 5G’S IMPACT WILL BE MORE INCREMENTAL THAN TRANSFORMATIONAL, BUT 5G HAS LONG BEEN TOUTED BY THE MAJOR TELCOS AS A GAME-CHANGER, GIVEN ITS PROMISE OF ENHANCED USER CONNECTIVITY, INCREASED BANDWIDTH AND FASTER DOWNLOAD SPEEDS, ALL REQUIRED TO PILE MORE AND MORE DEVICES ONTO THE NETWORK WITHOUT COMPROMISING PERFORMANCE.

Perhaps surprisingly, the accelerated expansion of Rogers’ 5G network isn’t, as so many other things have been since mid-March, related to COVID-19.

Timelines for the network build-out were surpassed due to a combination of factors, including Rogers’ partnership with Swedish multinational Ericsson as its 5G vendor, its deployment team’s efforts and its 600-MHz spectrum, a key building block underpinning the expansion.

Jorge Fernandes, Rogers chief technology and information officer, in a statement said the company is focused on continuing to build a “robust 5G ecosystem with strategic investments, world-class partners and cutting-edge technology.”

That ecosystem includes incubating a made-in-Canada 5G technology in partnership with several Canadian universities including the University of British Columbia, University of Waterloo and Ryerson University.

Rogers said launched in 50 new towns and cities Tuesday, making it Canada’s largest 5G network. Here is the list of the communities

This is an absolutely disgusting article, not one words let alone a peep about any of the many very serious health hazards and serious concerns many top doctor and scientist have about 5G being used at all ever...
 It was invented first as a WEAPON for the American Military and then used in Iraq on the Iraqi people and now their putting the 5G grid up over the entire USA and CANADA city by city with large population centers first and creating Hot zones that many are calling Kill zones. Whatever you want to call them watch for Covid19 death to rise in these location first and faster than non 5G areas... As these maps below show...

All I can say is if you don't have an EMF Radiation Meter you should get one soon for you and your families safety.  You can clean and lower emmision in your home especially in your bedrooms and other sleeping areas. I have found that the average home is like living in a microwave oven on low and often spiking to high and with some simple trick you can bring that down to almost zero across the boards except for those insane Smart Meter they are bad and that is all there is to it and when they kick into 5G mode look out people If its on flat spot on your wall where it located outside simply foil the entire wall inside the house where its located that the cheapest, simplest, easiest and most effective way of stopping it from entering your home. or buy an old analog meter and reinstall it that the ultimate fix but analog meter are getting hard to find...

Whatever the case 5G it seems is here to kill and kill it will and Covid19 death will rise in 5G hots Spots but all the sheople wont make the correlation between the two because the Alphabet News networks they watch will be up to their usual Covid19 fearmongering Cool-Aid as usual the masses of sheople will lap it all up exactly as they are complying with wearing a mask everywhere now I see almost 99.999% compliance with it.
 Now I really know how it feels to be a minority and a leper all wrapped up into one. I refuse to comply with any of their nonsense why because its called Medical Tyranny and I don't comply with Medical Tyranny in anyway shape or form...
