In the Bible the word “Jew” means a resident of the land of Judaea regardless of their tribe, race or religion just as an Australian or Englishman may in fact be a Chinese, Negro or an Eskimo, or perhaps a member of the tribe of Judah (Judahite). Caution When Reading Your Bible
People need to use the Strong’s Concordance and look up the word Jew and Gentile everytime you encounter these two words in your Holy Bible for the correct meaning as these two words have been distorted in the last couple hundred years to lead the flock astray. People should also use a good Concordance when reading your Holy Bible. The word Gentile was inserted into the Bible by the Catholics to teach a universal religion and have deceived many. The word Gentile never ever appeared in the Hebrew Bible and does not exist in Hebrew. So who are the Gentiles? You have to look at the context the word Gentiles is used to determine its proper meaning. It usually refers to the Tribes of Israel or one particular Tribe of Israel such as the Tribe of Judah in 99% of instances. See links below.
Is James’ Name Truly Jacob? And If So, Why Is Wrong Translation Employed?
The brother of Jesus is identified in the New Testament as “James.” His Epistle is famous among English speakers as “the Epistle of James.”
But is that truly His name? And if not, why is it rendered James?
There is no question that James is incorrect. It is Jacob. Anyone reading the Greek title to the Epistle of James itself can see that it is JAKOB even in Greek…where the letter I in Greek is rendered as J in English.
However, Jacob — a figure in the Original Hebrew Testament — is rendered into English as Jacob in the King James. I wonder why the difference?
There is no way that one could accidentally mistake Jacob in Greek for James in English. As Wikipedia explains regarding the name Jacob:

The Apostle James’ real name was Jacob named after his grandfather Jacob-Heli but the word was translated into James in the English translation.

The Authorized King James Bible was translated in 1611 based on the TEXTUS RECEPTUS, the original Greek text, and has been the target of textual critics since 1611. The King James Bible is still the most reliable translation available to us. Unfortunately, many of the versions of the Bible available today have either been mistranslated on purpose by those with their own agendas. People that do not know their history are doomed to repeat it.
You will start to put pieces together without racking your brain. Here’s a good historical record of the Jews but there’s a couple of discrepancies, like Judaism and Christianity are not the same and are completely polar opposite, nor did the Edomite/Jews have anything to do with scripture. New Testament Baptism Criteria
Christians that have not yet been baptized by full immersion and at an age of accountability (8 years and up) to receive the gospel and accept Messiah Jesus as your personal savior, should get baptized before the end of the age of grace which will occur when the Holy Spirit is removed from the earth.
