Not sure I agree entirely on the video game theory. Big Pharma and economics play into as well. Just trying to survive while you wait for your bs trickle down is driving many of us insane. But interesting discussion nonetheless. J.P.
That winner was from FortNite, a game that is like PUBG, how it turns normally ordinary young teenagers into little psychopathic monsters. The problem is not the game itself, the problem is that it is played by children in the most important years of social development. So if this is ALL they know as they develop their social skills, then its no wonder that so many young people are angry, bitter and in general socially maladjusted. Lurch USA

Thank you, Florida Maquis, for sharing some wisdom after the two horrendous events. When life events are difficult to explain or to understand, I refer back to Romans 8:28. And we know that God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. God does not promise us a wonderful life. Yes, we will have trials and tribulations, Many times, we will not find out why something happened, but we can take comfort that if we love God, there is a reason why, some event happens.
Even if the event is the loss of a child, sibling or parent. Maybe your spouse or a co-worker or some horrendous event takes place and you survive but everyone with you, does not survive. I believe we may never know why but one day we may find out. Sometimes, we are part of a plan involving someone else’s life. We just happened to be passing through their life. Thanks, Florida Maquis, for some rational thoughts, on challenging situations. Yes, there are evil people in this world because of the devil or Satan. There will always be evil until God comes back and overcomes the evil with love. K.H.
